The Nurse Behind My Joyful Brain
She started in the hardest rooms in the hospital
Before there was a practice in Ponte Vedra Beach, there were years in critical care and trauma — the settings where you watch a nervous system under the most extreme stress a body can carry, and where you learn quickly which interventions change something and which ones only look like they do.
That background shapes everything about how this practice runs. Nicole reads a health history the way a critical care nurse reads one: looking for what happened, when it happened, and what the body has been doing about it ever since.
A friend with Lyme changed her direction
Nicole came to neurofeedback the way many practitioners do — by watching it work on someone she cared about. A close friend recovering from Lyme disease improved in ways conventional care had not produced, and that was enough to send her looking for a real answer as to why.
She trained at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors in Arizona, became certified in IASIS microcurrent neurofeedback, and went on to collaborate with researchers at UC San Diego. She has helped establish wellness clinics in New York and Jacksonville. In 2018 she opened her own practice in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Today she is an IASIS Master Trainer — the person who teaches other practitioners how to do this work. It is also why Lyme and mold recovery remains one of the largest parts of the practice: it is where the whole thing started.

How She Works
Your system sets the pace
There is no standard protocol here. The most obvious symptom is not always the first priority, and what your system needed three months ago may not be what it needs today. We assess, we address what appears most important, we allow time for change, and then we look again.
You will be told the truth about what we know
Some of what we do is well-established and well-studied. Some of it is complementary wellness work drawn from bioenergetic traditions, and we will say so plainly rather than dressing it up in borrowed scientific language. You are entitled to know which is which.
Nothing here replaces your doctor
This practice works alongside conventional medical care, not instead of it. Nicole will tell you when something needs a physician, and she will never suggest you stop a prescribed medication because of changes you notice here.
